"Uniformed" leaders play an important role in helping Cub Scouts learn, grow, and have fun together. Whether leading a small den, supporting Pack events, or helping behind the scenes, volunteers help create the positive experiences that make Scouting meaningful for youth and families.
Many parents choose to volunteer because they want to stay involved in their childās activities, build connections within the Pack community, and help shape memorable adventures. No prior Scouting experience is needed ā training and support are provided every step of the way.
Leadership roles are flexible and designed to fit a variety of schedules, interests, and comfort levels. With guidance from experienced leaders and access to online resources, parents can step into volunteering with confidence.
Not all volunteers work directly with youth. Many serve in Committee positions that support those who do. Being a uniformed leaderĀ in Scouting America simply means you have registered as an adult and have completed the following items.Ā
Complete an adult application online ($65/yr registration fee).
If not already submitted, complete an Annual Scouts Medical Form and email it to pack215stmark@gmail.com.
